BACKSTORY
Yonhyakuyon was born in a fishing village somewhere in The Ruby Sea, however his birth came with much scorn, and his mother didn't make it. Born with a pair of oni horns, sharp teeth and strange eyes, the boy was deemed cursed and raised with much stigma within the village. He was isolated by the adults who warned their children not to play with the yonhyakuyon, that he would spirit away their sense of self.The villagers eventually hire a professional to deal with the oni child. A medicine seller arrives at the village within a week. Realizing that the demon was simply a wronged child, the medicine seller insists that the villagers let him take the child with him. Relieved to begone of the cursed child, the villagers agree and the medicine seller leaves with the boy.Yonhyakuyon travels with the medicine seller and his fox companion, who become guardians to the demon child. The medicine seller makes sure to pass his teachings unto Yonhyakuyon, until he comes of age. This was the last time he saw Jun'ya & Yua before they left to travel the world, Yonhyakuyon deciding to stay in Kugane.
